But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness. –Hebrews 3:13, NIV 2011
Like David clearly said, “This is the day the Lord has made”. And that day we say “Today” will be the very same day that we will learn something new. Whatever happens, at least we will learn to be thankful to learn something new. And even though things look bleak right now, at least we can hope that “Today” will eventually become just a shadow for tomorrow.
We will die to this “Today”, too. And “Tomorrow”, we will employ whatever things we did “Yesterday”. And as “Today” stands, we will gladly rejoice in it, because the Giver of life gave us a chance to stand on our feet.
(At least I hope I made some sense…)
