Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, and the Spirit of God was hovering over the waters. -Genesis 1:2, NIV, emphasis mine

Let our lord command his servants here to search for someone who can play the lyre. He will play when the evil spirit from God comes on you, and you will feel better. -1 Samuel 16:16, NIV (In honor of Redemption Month in My Life in You, I decided to post something I originally premiered on November 29, 2011. Originally titled, "Will You Hold Yourself Back?".) Once again, man could open the windows of their home and smell the fresh air.
For the first time in a while, man could smile and say, “I feel free! I’m so alive!”. Someone could smile and at least say “Hi” to their brother –without a dagger stuck on their backs. Pets could finally mind their own business, and people wouldn’t try and secretly attempt to murder them (and owners we so responsible to clean up after them!) Everyone had a home, everyone had food, everyone had a smile. (I have decided to showcase one of my favorite past love posts. "Without love" was written on February 9, 2010, and it explains how horrible it is to live without love in our hearts.) If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing. (1 Corinthians 13:1-3, NIV) (Sorry I haven’t been writing recently! I’ve got a few projects in store –and a few announcements pending! Have a merry Christmas, and I hope to see you next week and write my last post of 2011! Here’s something I wrote from December 22, 2010…) Consequently, just as one trespass resulted in condemnation for all people, so also one righteous act resulted in justification and life for all people. –Romans 5:18, NIV 2010 But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called “Today,” so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness. –Hebrews 3:13, NIV 2011 “I just wished that the people that are “moved” or “used” by the Spirit can really give and show a change. I have seen people who speak in tongues, people who dance, move and… do so many things for God, but then again, where is the transformation?” See to it, brothers, that none of you has a sinful, unbelieving heart that turns away from the living God. But encourage one another daily, as long as it is called Today, so that none of you may be hardened by sin's deceitfulness. (Hebrews 3:12, 13, NIV) Jesus replied, “Foxes have holes and birds of the air have nests, but the Son of Man has no place to lay his head.” (Luke 9:58, NIV) But I pray to you, O LORD, in the time of your favor; in your great love, O God, answer me with your sure salvation.
