My salvation and my honor depend on God ; he is my mighty rock, my refuge. –Psalm 62:7, NIV 2010, emphasis mine

And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in them. -1 John 4:16, NIV 2010 But even the archangel Michael, when he was disputing with the devil about the body of Moses, did not dare to bring a slanderous accusation against him, but said, “The Lord rebuke you!” –Jude 9, NIV
(Received this on my “nice e-mail”. Decided I could post it on my notes.)
Just wanted to tell everyone that I am so grateful to have life each day. It was difficult for me to decide who I thought would do this because many people claim to pray, but not everyone does. I chose the twelve people to send this short prayer. Please send this back to me. May everyone who received this message be blessed. There are 12 months/ 12 disciples/ 12 tribes of Israel .. There is nothing attached. Just send this to twelve others. Prayer is one of the best free gifts we receive. There is no cost, just a lot of reward. Make sure you pray, and pray believing God will answer. (I wrote this song at school months ago, when I was burdened by life and trials. I sang this at Christian Club a few days after. Months later, I am reminded of this song. I’ll come up with my thoughts later…) You are more than enough
You are all I need The light shines in wonder Your grace plainly I will see //He keeps my blessings// (The first time in three weeks that I write again! My posting-and writing- may be sorta spotty, but I’m OK…) Son of man, with one blow I am about to take away from you the delight of your eyes. Yet do not lament or weep or shed any tears. Groan quietly; do not mourn for the dead. Keep your turban fastened and your sandals on your feet; do not cover the lower part of your face or eat the customary food of mourners .” (Ezekiel 24: 16,17, NIV) (Wrote this Thursday while at the airport!) Now what I am commanding you today is not too difficult for you or beyond your reach. It is not up in heaven, so that you have to ask, “Who will ascend into heaven to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?” Nor is it beyond the sea, so that you have to ask, “Who will cross the sea to get it and proclaim it to us so we may obey it?” No, the word is very near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart so you may obey it. (Deuteronomy 30:11-14, NIV) During the night Pharaoh summoned Moses and Aaron and said, “Up! Leave my people, you and the Israelites! Go, worship the LORD as you have requested. Take your flocks and herds, as you have said, and go. And also bless me.” (Exodus 12:31, 32, NIV) |
