Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. –Matthew 6:34, NIV
Each day is constantly shining forth with healing in its rays. God grants us a chance to craft our hidden gifts and show them to the world. We can look towards the mountains and valley, or bask at the glory of the sun at the moon. Everything simply fades away at the light of a new day, for there is no reason to feel torment or worthlessness. There is no reason to wither into our worries, since all our worries will die with us.
Each day infuses passion in our bones and downs us with God’s bountiful mysteries. As the phoenix rises from the ashes or the sun rises from the moon, everything in life works as a cycle: birth, childhood, adolescence, adulthood, elderliness, and death. We should never fear this cycle; rather, we should embrace it with its blessings, strengths, and weaknesses. Each day begins with light, and nothing we can do will whisk it away. Even if we are submerged in the darkness of life’s many mysteries, in the worst age of our brokenness, there is still reason to feel joy.
I want to learn how to live each day, and just that day.
