Don’t be afraid. Your God, the God of your father, has given you treasure in your sacks; I received your silver. -Genesis 43:23, NIV
But there was a pirate who was savvy enough to get out of the all-seeing guild's eye and avoided the pillaging, grog drinking, wench stealing, and overwhelming amounts of citrus on his diet. He defected the guild and was secretly hailed as a hero; more than enough, everybody increasingly felt discouraged over these pointless repartitions to the pirate chiefs.
And that pirate was set out to fight it...at night!
So he sailed beyond the bay to find that beautiful, beautiful, gilded island with his trusty crew of pundits and rabbits (he liked rabbits). And yet, problems always spelled doom for any pirate trying to get to the island. The morning after, they felt hungry, The next day, they felt scared. And the next day, they wanted to grovel to their mothers and go home. The pirate grew frustrated each passing day and week, trying to find a way to boost his crew's morale and lead them to the world's greatest treasure. He saw himself bathed in gold and refreshed in silver beds. He dreamed of bronze cups and diamond crowns.
Then came the storms and the hurricanes. Then came those pesky seagulls thinking their ears looked like dying fish. Then came scurvy and leprosy (no one can have too much oranges) and the common cold. All the while, they were quick in turning back. They wanted to...But the captain didn't let them. They could swim home if they wanted to, but if they wanted to share in the treasure, then they had to stick around!
